Koda Farms Kokuho Rose™ – Now Easier to Find on the Shelf!
In 1963, Kokuho Rose was introduced to the American market as the first premium, medium grain rice. Developed in our own rice breeding program in the late 1950s, Kokuho Rose was created specifically for our particular micro-climate and soil type. To this day, we are the sole growers of our proprietary strain. Unique and superior, from taste to appearance, Kokuho Rose is legendary in the food industry.

2003 marked the 40th anniversary of Kokuho Rose True Koda Varietal. To celebrate this landmark event, we launched an exciting new look on our packaging to make it even easier to find Kokuho Rose on the shelf.

As always, look for the Kokuho Rose logo. Our signature trademark, originally conceived by Koda Farms’ founder, Keisaburo Koda, continues to remain the most widely recognized feature on our bags. Plus, we added our new Koda Farms logo so you’ll know right away that you are buying our heirloom Kokuho Rose True Koda Varietal grown exclusively on Koda Farms.

Our fresh new look is a direct response to loyal customers’ feedback and inquiries. Informative and original, our new packaging now tells you what makes our rice remarkable, including its origin, history, and favorite uses
